Marathon Ike
We paid for a marathon. We ran the race route that was marked out for us. We can and will call this a marathon. Congratulations to everyone that was courageous enough to take on MARATHON IKE!!

I ran the 10 mile Lewis & Clark Marathon as well and we stayed in the same hotel. We were just leaving as the balloons were brought out into the hall. We should have stuck around for the celebration. Maybe next year?
We had a great time this weekend. Let's do it again next weekend??????

The award plaques and prize money checks are going to be sent out in a few days. We’re revising the plaque artwork to reflect the race distance change.

Subject: Lewis and Clark Race
Dave,
A group of us came down from Muscatine, Iowa to enjoy this race. After the race was cancelled, we had a hall party at Country Inn and Suites. We got up the next morning and ran the second half of the marathon. The trail. There were two trees down and it would have been very dangerous to have let the race continue; we all agreed with that after seeing the trail.
I want to thank you for your concern for our safety.
We had several people place in the Marathon Division. One was second in the overall females. What will we need to do to get out award and/or prize money?
