January!!

We will be carpooling from Farm and Fleet @ 10:15 to the B-rrry Scurry on Feb. 6th:
The 29th Annual Clinton Community College B-rrry Scurry 4-Mile Race is at Noon on Saturday, February 6, 2010!
It’s time to begin training for the 29th annual CCC B-rrry Scurry Race. All runners and walkers receive the official, originally designed TECH race shirt, have their names listed in the Clinton Herald, are eligible for some great door prizes, free refreshments after the race, and entry into the LEGENDARY post-race party at Legends Sports Bar.
New for the 2010 race: ·
-TECH race shirt
-DISPOSABLE CHIP timing system - Participants will pick up their chips before race time, and there is no need to return them after the race.
-Bring a nonperishable food item - The community has supported Clinton Community College and the B-rrry Scurry Race throughout the years. It’s time to help the community by filling our area food pantries. Collection boxes will be placed throughout the building for your use.

Congratulations to everyone that ran in the 8k (4.96 miles) Frostbite Race at Scott County Park, Jan. 16th
Jackie Liebmann was first female finisher with a time of 33:31.
Jonathan Estabrook was first male finisher with a time of 28:01.
Mike Thomas was the third overall finisher.
Joe Timmsen was first for his age division. 5th overall
Dave Timmsen was first for his age division. 7th overall
Mario Garcia was 16th overall.
Rusty Brown was 17th overall.
Noel Spencer was second for his age division.
Lindsay Brunson was second for her age division.
Vinton Cromer was second for his age division.
Teresa Shepley was second for her age division.
Terry Curry was third for his age division.
Jean Roeder was third for her age division.
Mike Albee was third for his age division.
Teri Lyon was third for her age division.
Charles Potter, Alma Brunson, Madonna Novak, Jim Tiedemann, and Brian Shepley also ran the race and did very well ! As a matter of fact, Charles Potter took 11 minutes and 14 seconds off of last year's Frostbite race. Way to run, Charles !
