In last week's newsletter I forgot to mention that John Fletcher received 1st place for his age division at the Scott County Park 8k Frostbite Footrace. Congratulations, Fletch ! You rock !

2) Winners for age divisions : Connie Mann - 56:26, Chris Mann - 44:15, Kelsey (Chris' friend from ISU), and Eric Furnas - 52:20

3) Erin Carl, John Fletcher, and Mike Thomas (not pictured) - winners for coed team with a time of 42:52. 4) Hailey & Jeremy Oepping - winners for family team with a time of 47:43. 5) Kurt Sanger, Randy Kemper, and Mario Garcia - winners for business team with a time of 47:30. 6) Brett Guerra - overall female winner with a time of 50:46. AWESOME BRETT !
Other Running Friend winners for their age divisions were :
Dave Hurlbut - 54:39, Joe Timmsen - 50:58, and Alma Brunson - 1:10:36.
Charles Potter, Chuck Prill, Tony Carl, Dell Wagner, and the Zeck family also competed. Congratulations to all of you !

7) Tony Carl running his first few laps... only 30 some to go ! 8) Kelsey (Chris' friend from ISU) finishing up her last last laps to win for her age division. 9) Julie Evans took 3 minutes off her time from last year ! Way to go !

10) Dave Hurlbut waiting patiently for the gun to shoot off to begin his pool laps. 1st place for age division. 11) Brett Guerra's younger brother finishing up his final laps on the track. 12) Mikayla Timmsen (Dave's daughter) completing her 40 laps. 13) Mark Evans pedaling his way to 7 miles. 14) Dave Timmsen eagerly awaiting to begin. 15) Mike Thomas giving it his all on the final lap. Winning 1st place for the coed team. 16) Brett Guerra looked strong to the very end. First female overall. Wow ! 17) Tim Armstrong makes running look so easy! Winning 1st place for the male team. 18) Jeremy Oepping kept a steady pace for the 2.5 miles, winning 1st place for the family division. 19) Jean Pfeifer ran the track to help win 3rd place for the family division. 20) John Fletcher working up a sweat on the bike. Coed team finishing 1st place. 21) Last Sunday morning group run. We ran 7 miles. It snowed the entire time. 22-23) Last Saturday's group run... before and after our 12 mile run. Is it spring yet?
