It's the racing season so be sure to check out the upcoming events. New this year is a fund raiser for the Muscatine Middle School Cross Country program. There are 4 distances that can be run by an individual or a team. They are 2 miles, 1.5 miles, 1 mile, and .5 mile. Contact Lisa Hughes for more information.
Terry Curry reminded me to let everyone know that there is a price increase on August 1st for the St. Charles marathon. He also said that if you sign up by this date that you will get a personalized bib with your first name on it. We are planning to leave on September 13, running the marathon on the 14th, and returning on the 15th. There will be a meeting in the next few weeks to discuss carpooling, hotel accommodations, etc. Let me know if you are interested in joining us.

Don't forget that Wildebeests who ran in St Louis in April will receive an additional medal for running in St Charles in September for running them both in the same calendar year.
