I have a major announcement to make : Are you ready to go on another "migration"? On June 14th, we are planning to run the Marathon to Marathon, Storm Lake to Marathon IA. (5k, marathon relay, half marathon, and full marathon) Charles Potter (Voice of Muscatine) says it is his favorite marathon ... and he has ran 37 marathons ! Let's join Charles ! We have 8 1/2 weeks to train (maintain) for this marathon. We can do it ! Charles said it is not hilly like St. Louis, it is mostly flat. Send me an e-mail to let me know if you are interested. I will see about getting a group discount for hotel rooms in Storm Lake. We had such a wonderful time in St. Louis, let's make Storm Lake as memorable !

On Saturday evening, we celebrated Vikki Curry's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR VIKKI !

Several running friends participated in the 5K Gilda's run on Sunday. Joe Timmsen ran 30+ miles in Pekin Illinois on Saturday and then on Sunday raced at the Gilda's run in Bettendorf to place 6th overall (2nd for his age category). Joe, you are a running machine ! Stacey Eberhard received 3rd place for her age category. Yahoo ! And... Terry Curry, Nancy Foxen, Nancy Shell, Becky Zeck, and I placed 4th for each of our age divisions. Fun run, great friends !
