UPDATES FOR OCTOBER!!
 
Joe & Dave Timmsen, Mario Garcia, Jackie Liebmann, Danelle Much, and Jean Pfeiffer ran the Farmdale 30 miler in Peoria, IL on Saturday.

A message from Danelle :
Here is a website that has the results: http://www.ivs.org/.  It was a fun run- a little hot for some of us- I like the heat, though. Mario did awesome. A few falls, some times of not feeling too good, and a little helping each other as well as other runners along. Overall it was a good run-Joe scared us a bit-we are glad he is ok, too!!!
Pretty day, pretty trails, nice people. Jean Pfifer was there, too. Her results are on that website as well.

Mario finished in 4:46... 4th overall... 3rd in men. I finished in 6:03... second female...12th overall. Dave finished 6:15...14th overall. Danelle 6:31... 21st overall. Jean 8:05.

The 5k Muskie Grass cross country race was held this past Saturday at Discovery Park.

ERIC PRILL was the male overall winner !

NANCY FOXEN was the female overall winner !

Congratulations to everyone who ran the challenging Muskie Grass race. Thanks Chris and Nancy Foxen for all your hard work in putting the race together !

The 5k and 10k Nancy Kapheim Memorial race was held this past Sunday (October 10) in Rock Island.

NANCY FOXEN was the female overall winner for the 10k!

5k - 1st place for age division : Tim Armstrong, Matt Roling

- 2nd place for age division: Jean Roeder

- 3rd place for age division: Micaela Brunson

10k - 1st place for age division : Erin Roling, Chris Foxen, Theresa Walter, Eve Reynolds, Jodi Heth

- 2nd place for age division: Teri Lyon
-  3rd place for age division : Alma Brunson, Jo Faris

By the way... Nancy Shell was 1 second away from placing 3rd for her age division.

Congratulations Dell Wagner and Peggy Bailey for completing the Milwaukee marathon on October 3rd. Peggy qualified for Boston !


The 4-H race was held this past Saturday at Musser Park on the riverfront.
