Let's catch up!!!

So it's been awhile since the blog has been updated!!  What have the "Friends" been doing?

TOMRV (Tour of the Mississippi River Valley). Two day, 200+ mile bike ride from Bettendorf to Dubuque and back. It rained both days but still had a great ride !

- June 19 (Saturday @ 8 a.m.) ----- St. Malachy's Steeple Chase - 4.65 miles - Muscatine
Tony Carl, Daphne Donald, Mario Garcia, Stacey Eberhard, and Andrew Carson met at the soccer complex, ran to St. Malachy's church, ran the Steeple Chase, and then ran back to the complex. (20+ miles) Wow, GREAT migration ! Thank you Paula Gillespie... you were much appreciated as their sag wagon ! Jackie Liebmann was the overall female finisher.  Great run, Jackie ! Congratulations to all that ran !

Also, the church yard was a muddy mess. A man got his vehicle stuck in the yard. The Running Friends came to the rescue.  Charles Potter and Chris Foxen got covered in mud?

Nancy Shell and Teri Lyon were the only Muscatine Running Friends that raced in Geneseo. Nancy is getting her "groove" back after breaking her wrist on Easter Sunday. She placed 2nd in her age division.

Several Muscatine athletes participate in the QC Tri. Congratulation to Connie Mann, Tonya and Tim Armstrong, Julie Evans, Dave Timmsen, Logan Guerra, Andrew Bennett, Jeremy Oepping, Ashley and Eric Schmeig, Eric Furnas, Becky Brooker, and Craig Oppel !
