Is anyone interested in getting a group together to run the Des Moines marathon on Sunday, October 17th? Nancy Shell and Charles Potter have registered. It is not far for the group to carpool. I realize it is only a few weeks after the QC marathon but I plan to run the half in the Quad Cities and then the full in Des Moines.
Well... what do you think? Let me know so I can get rooms reserved for us. Thank you !

A message (picture below) from Carlos Rondon :
A special "Hello" from Seoul, South Korea to my Running Friends in Muscatine, Iowa! I was thinking of all my Running Friends today.   I am sorry I was not able to join the group for the Green Bay marathon. But, hopefully I will join the group in another race. For now, I am  wearing my Running Friends shirt at the gym in the hotel until I get familiar with the running places. I have been running everyday early in the mornings before going to work. I hope to make contact with some runners’ group soon. Today, I ventured to the Hang River and I discover one of the most popular biking paths. I saw some few runners. So, I will be running there soon. I have to take a taxi or get the subway to access the running places. So far I am doing baby steps to get familiar with the basics. The cultural shock is a real factor to manage in a daily basis.

Keep Running ! Keep Smiling !
